Operations Intern

Sie Ventures backs early-stage, venture-scale startups across Europe through our Catalyst Program, Founder Community, and Syndicate. Our highly-curated community of 175 founders has collectively raised over £200M in venture capital, with 165 cheques facilitated through our platform. We also invest alongside a network of angels and family offices in FinTech, HealthTech, and Sustainability, co-investing with funds like General Catalyst, LocalGlobe, and Seedcamp. We’re supported by British Business Bank, HSBC Innovation Banking, Cooper Parry, and Marriott Harrison.

Sie exists to unlock more capital for exceptional, gender-diverse, founding teams. We do this through:

  • Sie Foundations: a 4-week fundraising readiness course for early-stage founders

  • Sie Catalyst: following Sie Foundations, our intense fundraising program for high-potential founders

About the Role

We’re looking for an Operations Fellow to support the delivery and growth of our programs and community this summer. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations and founding team, gaining hands-on experience across content, community, events, marketing, sourcing, and systems.

This is a great fit for someone curious about startups, venture, or operations—and who wants to build something meaningful from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in helping us scale our reach, improve founder experience, and run both our seventh Catalyst program and the upcoming Foundations cohort.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support: Sie Catalyst & Foundations

  • Assist with marketing and outreach to drive applications

  • Help source and review early-stage companies for program selection

  • Join calls with potential founders and assist with onboarding

  • Support operational tasks like welcome packs, scheduling, event logistics, and resource curation

  • Keep Sie Universe, our Notion Hub, up to date and useful

Events

  • Help plan and coordinate virtual and in-person events

  • Provide on-the-day support to ensure smooth running of sessions

Marketing & Content

  • Draft and schedule content for LinkedIn, Medium, and newsletters

  • Share founder milestones, community news, and articles

  • Help maintain and update marketing assets (e.g. one-pagers, decks)

Administrative Support

  • Use our CRM tools to manage founder outreach and track engagement

  • Support day-to-day coordination across teams and tools

Who We’re Looking For

  • You care deeply about improving access to capital for underrepresented founders

  • You’re organised, proactive, and execution-focused

  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment

  • You’re curious about startups or might want to build one yourself one day

  • You’re available part-time with regular overlap with the core team

We value people who ask thoughtful questions, take initiative, and bring energy to what they do. You don’t need previous VC or startup experience—just a sharp mind, a collaborative spirit, and an interest in building something impactful.
